I first heard Bon Iver’s music from the website Virb.com (which is currently undergoing its 2.0-idness). He was a featured artist on there for months and months and finally I just gave in—if he’s the featured artist for that amount of time, he must have something going for him. I was completely blown away by every single song—one after another they kept besting themselves.

Recently I was traipsing through Karli Fairbanks’ blog and saw in one of her posts that Bon Iver came out with a new EP (Blood Bank) early this year. I was so excited I immediately headed over to my pal iTunes and gave it a little test drive. After listening to the 30-second clips a couple of times over, I knew I needed to have the full songs. I’ve been listening to it (along with For Emma, Forever Ago) on shuffle and repeat as I work away the hours.
