I’m Leaving Las Vegas; Lights so bright; Palm sweat, blackjack; On a Saturday night; Leaving Las Vegas; Leaving for good, for good; I’m leaving for good; I’m leaving for good

Sheryl Crow

Well, I don’t know if we left it for good, for good, but this song was playing on the radio at 8-ish in the morning as we drove up Highway 93 toward Boise, Idaho. Along the way, I took random snapshots as the landscape changed from mild temperatures, neon lights, municipal insomnia, and a vast, snowless desert to intriguing cliffs dusted with snow and misty rolls of fog. I played this game a lot and sang along to random tunes on the XM Satellite Radio in Dan’s rental car. It was a long 12 hours driving to Boise, but we saw some interesting things along the way (look for that post coming right up!).
